He was once the village president and a police officer for the Kenosha County town of Silver Lake. Now, 71-year-old Ronald Wieland is charged with two counts of child sex assault. Investigators suspect there may be many more victims.
Last week, a teenage boy told police Wieland sexually assaulted him. Another boy told police Wieland sexually assaulted him countless times over the years. Both of those accusations led to the charges.
Wieland was arrested on accusations of assault back in 2003. But he was never charged in the case.
Wieland is now out of jail on $20,000 bail.
