Milwaukee's hometown American Idol Danny Gokey was in Los Angeles Tuesday, promoting his debut country album.
Gokey won the hearts of America on Season 8 of the hit FOX show, American Idol.
In an interview with KTLA, Gokey said not much had changed for him, except now he was, "Danny Gokey, the artist" instead of an American Idol contestant.
Gokey was excited to be doing what he has a passion for - singing. "I love singing and feeling what I sing and have other people feel what I sing."
Gokey performed his first single, "If Only" and gave folks a preview of his next single, "Best Days." Check out these videos from our sister station, KTLA.
