WITI-TV, MILWAUKEE - The city of Milwaukee slapped the owner of a vacant northside building with $11,000 in tickets Monday. This, for allegedly holding a dance party at the property on Saturday evening.

Just before midnight on Saturday, Milwaukee police acted on an anonymous tip. Officers closed down a party at the building near North Ave. and King Dr.. Inside were some 300 juveniles who each paid a $10 cover charge. Officials say only one door in front was used as an entrance and exit. The other two doors in front were covered with bars and gates.

The owner of the building, Paul Bachowski, claims he did not know about the dance party. He was arrested early Sunday morning for not having the right entertainment permits. Three others were also arrested; a deejay for obstructing officers and two security guards for carrying concealed weapons.
