Three Racine families who have relatives in Iraq have reported their American flags have been stolen. Tuesday night all three families have had their flags returned.
A 20-year-old man saw the news story reported by FOX 6 Reporter Bob Moore, and realized that the flags that had been placed all over his truck were the flags the families were looking for. He thinks the flags were stolen as a practical joke.
The 20-year-old man talked to his friend who was a Racine Police officer, and they took the flags back to all three of the families homes.
There has been no word on who actually stole the American flags.
