WITI-TV, MADISON - Employees of Kenosha's Dairyland Greyhound Park are doing what they can to save the dog racing track from shutting down. In fact, they walked the halls of the state capitol in a rally of support for the facility.

The workers came to Madison hoping to persuade officials to fast track the approval of the Kenosha Menomonee Casino project. It's an option that would help keep Dairyland open. Right now, that approvals sits at the hands of the U.S. Secretary of Interior.

It's estimated approval of the casino project would save 200 jobs in Kenosha and could bring additional jobs to the area.
