
The
Educators Credit Union Savings Challenge was such a success, including winning Governor Doyle's Financial Literacy Award, we're doing it again! Educators' goal is to help six families/individuals significantly improve their financial situation over the course of this nine month challenge. The family meeting or exceeding its established goals by the most (along with other criteria) will be declared the winner of the $10,000 first place prize!
The families are working with Educators financial coaches who provide resources and tips to develop a budget and strategies to help accomplish financial goals. The Savings Challenge winning family will be announced in June 2010.

The Kouhel family lives in Waukesha. Traci is getting serious about college savings for her sons, Zakary and Adam. She hopes the Savings Challenge will also help her get a start in planning for retirement.
The Antholine family (Bob, Diana, Kaylee, Ashlyn) hopes to round out their lives with a healthier financial situation. They live in Waukesha.
The Reid family is excited for their Savings Challenge experience. Donte and Kiarra, along with their son Jaden, live in Milwaukee.
The Bowen-Liles family (Bruce, Michelle, Demarco, Celeste, Austin, and Conner) live in Milwaukee. Their goals are to save/payoff student loan debt and increase their savings.
Jake & Amy Leannais live in Racine. They hope to eliminate debt and boost their savings in an effort to start a family.
The Rico family lives in Racine (Luis and Esmeralda). They hope the Savings Challenge will improve their financial well-being and teach their daughter Olivia about finances.
