I'm Vince Condella, Chief Meteorologist for FOX 6 Weather. It has been my privilege to work here since February 1982. Previous to that I was a broadcast meteorologist in Madison at WKOW-TV in 1981 and WMTV-TV in 1980.

My interest in weather goes way back to when I was growing up in the Chicago suburb of Lombard, watching Windy City legend Harry Volkman deliver the weather in his folksy but educational style. My education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Meteorology from UW-Madison.

My wife Janet and I enjoy riding our motorcycles (in the warm weather months!) and hanging out with our two dogs Sammy and Rocco all year around. Thanks for checking out our web weather products here on this web site and for tuning in to my weather reports on FOX 6 News.
