Reporter: FOX6 News is seeking the next great multi-media journalist to join our team. We're looking for an individual who has the passion to pursue stories long before the competition, strives to be the lead every night (both on-air and online) and communicates with compelling writing and on-air performance. Milwaukee is hyper-competitive! You have to want to win every day on the street! The world of TV News is changing, so the successful candidate for this position must be well-versed in all aspects of today's reporting landscape, from online to working sources, and be ready for whatever else is about to happen next in our business. You must be a reporter as eager to break stories on the web as well as on the 6 o'clock news. You need at least two years experience. Engineering
Temporary Engineer: Regular scheduled Broadcast Engineer that operates and maintains broadcast equipment. Basic electronic maintenance skills and attention to detail are needed. Knowledge of television production techniques is highly desired. Degree preparation or course work in technical engineering discipline in lieu of broadcast engineering experience. MUST be proficient in being able to operate computer operated and controlled satellite systems, video server systems, automated program and commercial ingest and timing systems. MUST be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. This position is represented by IBEW 715.
Sales & Marketing
Account Executive: Initiates local sales and service calls with direct accounts and ad agencies; focuses on developing new / incremental business with local direct businesses; 2+ years of sales with strong organizational skills and proficiency with Excel, Word and Power Point preferred. Experience selling broadcast, cable or web/internet is a plus. Candidates need to multi-task various activities and have proven experience doing so. Other duties as assigned.
